At Orange Bush Nippers, we have a vision to provide members of all ages with the confidence and skills to make them safe in all aquatic environments. Our Nippers range in age from 3 years old through to teenagers.

Each age group has a designated Age Manager and Assistant Age Manager/s to work with nippers to develop water confidence and safety skills at their own pace in a fun, supportive environment.

From the age of 13 Orange Bush Nippers are able to sit the Surf Rescue Certificate, the minimum requirement to become a Junior Surf Lifesaver.

Nemos      3 to 4 years* 
Crabs        5 to 8 years
Dolphins   9 to 10 years
Stingrays  11 to 12 years
Sharks      13+ years

*It is a water safety requirement that all children under the age of 5 must have an adult in the water within arms reach at all times.
